From the CEO and Managing Director

I recently had the privilege of presenting on a panel predicting the future of Global Employee Assistance at the EAPA International annual conference in San Diego. Having been involved in the industry for the past 25 years gives one some perspective.

That future, with foreign multinationals consolidating local companies, integration of work-life with EAP, will be driven by a new breed of technology driven capabilities allowing providers to have culturally relevant programs in each country.

IPS has been at the forefront of developing EAPs and work-life programs ‘acculturated’ in many countries. This capability now benefits employees in 90 countries. The experience in developing this capability continues to drive the improvements we can offer within each country.

IPS has recently announced its strategic alliance with Ceridian Corporation in the US, Canada and the UK allowing a truly Global Assistance Program while retaining the unique cultural values in each country. We look forward to each new step facing the future with you. Have a happy holiday season!

It’s a great idea to serve some non alcoholic drinks at your Christmas party. After all you will most likely have a few designated drivers on the guest list. These simple non-alcoholic cocktail recipes are a great way to treat your tee totaling guests to a special drink!

Belini

  • 4 tablespoons white peach puree
  • 1 bottle of non alcoholic bubbly champagne, chilled

Place 1 tablespoon white peach puree into the bottom of a Champagne flute. Fill the glass with the non alcoholic champagne. Simple!

Pink Sunrise Cocktail

  • 1 quart red grapefruit juice
  • 1 bottle non-alcoholic Champagne

Add a few ounces red grapefruit juice to the glass then fill the glass with non-alcoholic champagne. A breeze!

Red Garland Cocktail

  • 3 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • 2 slices lime
  • crushed ice

Pour the cranberry juice and lime juice over ice and shake well. Pour with a strainer over the shaker into a chilled 7 ounce stemmed wine glass. Splash with orange juice and place and lime slice on top.

Sorbet Cocktail

  • 1 pack fresh strawberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 1 cup soda water

1 pint strawberry sorbet scooped into melon balls and held in freezer until ready to serve. Hull strawberries and add to a blender. Peel bananas, cut in half and add to blender. Add apple juice and puree until smooth. Stir in soda water. Place strawberry sorbet balls into 4 glasses and evenly distribute juice into each glass.
